Education

I will push for a return to the original purpose of the school system: to teach reading, writing, math, sciences, history, and civics. I will oppose teaching CRT and similar propaganda content that have no basis in fact or reality. I   support   parental   rights   and   notifications . I will push for full disclosure of all content being taught, and all assessments and surveys conducted by the school. I will push for parental consent for all health issues. I support school choice. I support giving more control to the local school board, but I also believe we need more fiscal accountability from each local district. Economy Maryland’s gas tax went up automatically by over 18% on July 1st. The annual increase is tied to inflation, so you get hit harder when inflation is higher. I would support decoupling the fuel tax from inflation. The General Assembly is not delivering what you paid for through your taxes. I will seek opportunities to cut wasteful spending. I will support changes to the tax structure that will foster the growth of small businesses; promote aquaculture, agriculture, and agritourism; and reduce the tax burden for retirees. My opponent voted to raise the minimum county income tax (SB 133, 2021)

Track down the dealers and pipelines that are bringing in drugs from an open border.

Replace programs that enable continued drug abuse (clean needles) with programs that help people get off

drugs and stay clean.

I will push for the use of proven and effective drug awareness programs.

If elected, I will be a common-sense voice your voice to correct our schools, restore our neighborhoods, and protect the traditional values that made this a great State. Together, we can make our imagination a reality.
Imagine a school system that is ranked at the top on the Nation’s Report Card. Imagine a neighborhood where kids can play in the front yard without fear of kidnapping or being shot. Imagine a neighborhood where everyone has a steady, good-paying job, food in the pantry and a few dollars left over to enjoy a vacation.

But It Doesn’t Have to be This Way …

Why I’m Running…

The Progressive leadership of the General Assembly have lost their moral compass. They are pushing a “woke” ideology on our kids, granting medical coverage to illegals while raising the cost of our health insurance, and pursuing unrestricted abortions including the termination of babies up to 4 weeks after birth. MD schools are currently ranked 26th in the nation with only 72% of our kids scoring above BASIC for reading. The rating was 73% in 2002. This means over   one-fourth of our kids are testing below the BASIC level for reading and have been for the past 20 years . Today, violent crime is up across the state. We need more police, not less, and we must restore the trust between citizens and the police. Opioid overdoses have become epidemic. 4.7% of all deaths in MD are from drug overdoses this is the highest percentage in the nation.

I support a limit of two consecutive terms for our state legislators. I support the 2nd Amendment and the right of law-abiding citizens to own guns. I support election integrity so that every vote is counted and every vote counts.
